If you wander over to my Writer in Residence page, you’ll find out more about my year-long residency with Kirklees Libraries. It’s all still a bit new and scary, but I’d absolutely love as many of you as possible to join me for my first online session this THURS 3 Sep at 11:00 GMT. The session will be recorded, so you can watch it whenever you want, over the next 200 years via Kirklees Libraries on their YouTube channel.
The first session is called ‘The Book in YOU’ and I’ll be chatting about my own journey in writing and giving you lots of food for though, so if you’ve ever wondered about writing something that others get to see… then grab a pen and paper and prepare for a bit of self-reflection (in a no-nonsense sort of way.)
EVERY MONTH: I’ll be running online Writer in Residence sessions on the first Thursday of every month, at 11am. The sessions will be streamed on the YouTube and Facebook pages and will be available to catch up later if you miss them. I’ll also be running some sessions as part of Talking Books. Find out more here.

- 24th September – 11am – Encouraging Reluctant Readers (a panel of helpful experts – aimed at parents/ all carers and teachers of kids aged under 16)
